Why do I worry about these things so much, I should trust my gut instincts and go with the flow. I wasn't as bad as I thought I would be leading up to the scan actually but it was fantastic seeing baby G on the screen kicking away and attempting to suck his thumb. So cute!
I have loads of scan pics which I will post as soon as I can get organised, we dont have a computer at home and its almost impossible to do it at work.
Anyway, baby G was awesome and I will call him a "he" because I just feel very strongly that we are having a boy. The ultrasound tech said everything looked great, my placenta was sitting quite low but they will watch that and I will have one final scan at 33 weeks to double check it. Baby G tried to suck his thumb quite a few times and had the hiccups which was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Mum came to the scan with DH and I and it was great she could be there and see it all because they never had scans back in her day.
The best part is I can feel baby G kicking now, it is pretty regular when I sit in my office chair and feels a little like gas or bubbles popping - I know its not gas because nothing comes out the other end if you know what I mean. Its so exciting feeling kicks for the first time and very reassuring to know he is in there having a nice little party for one. The next stage will be for DH to feel them, I cant wait.
